membership
The core age group of members is between 8 and 17 years, though we don't take total beginners over the age of 13.
The club is for beginners/intermediate level players and we split players into ability groups.
Club nights are held every Wednesday evening term time at Vyners School in Ickenham (we run along the Breakspear School term timetables).
The club has a maximum limit of 35 members and a waiting list usually exists.
For existing members, if your child feels badminton isn't for him/her, please do let us know as soon as you can so we can re-allocate the place to someone else at the beginning of the next term.

Additional Information
If your child doesn't have a racket, don't worry, we have some spare rackets that they can borrow on the night. We play with feathered shuttles at the club.
Players should wear non-marking trainers and preferably shorts/sports skirt and T Shirt when playing. A tracksuit is also advisable, especially in the colder weather. Children should also bring along a cold drink with them in a bottle (preferably not fizzy).
No food is allowed at the club.
We are affiliated to Badminton England and have a good relationship with their Middlesex Development Officer.
We are happy for you to leave your kids with us, but please do collect them promptly as we need to vacate the hall at 7.00 pm for another group.
All four coaches at the club are CRB checked (criminal records bureau). If you wish to see a copy of our disclosures, please just ask.
