We have a supply of good quality badminton rackets for use at the club (not to be taken home) should members not own their own rackets.
We play with feathered shuttles which are supplied.
A DVD player is also available at the club to view the Badminton England technique DVD which demonstrates the whole range of shots in badminton.
Members should wear suitable sporting attire, i.e. shorts/T shirt and non-marking trainers. It is also important, especially in the colder months that they wear a tracksuit or 'cover up' clothes.
Members need to also bring along a drink with them during the club session as no drinkable water is available in the sports hall. This drink needs to be in a sealed container/beaker and preferably not fizzy! We would like to remind members to take their empty drinks containers home with them!
